Hey everyone was checking that the lift reservoir wasn't leaking and I saw a potential spot where I could be missing a bolt. Attaching a photo of the location - it's just to the left of the battery, looking underneath the air duct from the front... Can anyone confirm they do / don't have a bolt where I've circled in red? It looks like a threaded hole underneath, that's what got my suspicions raised...
Not sure if this makes you feel better or not, but mine doesn't have a bolt in that spot either. Maybe it's for something that's coming down the road or I guess they left them out on at least two cars.
My car is a coupe. I wouldn't think it's a assembly fixture location as the top and bottom piece nearly perfectly align and the bottom hole is threaded, so it would seem that a bolt should be there, but as Phil1098 pointed out, his appears to not have a bolt either. Strange.
