Default C8 vs C7 NPP sound

For those of you that have owned a C7, and now a C8 with the NPP exhaust: Do you think there is any difference in sound?

In your opinion is it better sounding?...or about the same?

My C7 Z06 was louder than my C8 with Z51 is, no question. It still sounds pretty good at full wail though.

Inside the cabin isn't as loud as the C7, outside the C8 sounds about the same as the C7 in terms of decibels.

The sound itself however is different. Due to the fact the engine is in the back, the exhaust, headers etc result in a different tone vs a C7.

You can still hear that familiar Chevy smallblock sound but the C8 does sound a little different tone wise vs the C7.

This is LT1 C7 (Stingray, Grand Sport) vs LT2 C8 Stingray. The LT4 and LT5 from the C7 are different beasts.

This sounds about right to me from my experience.

Not surprised given the higher HP. A fair amount more exhaust gas energy is being produced in the C7 Z06 when both the rated HP and S/C parasitic loss are factored in.

Yeah I got a C7 Z06 and so far I only heard C8 in videos, I tho they sounded pretty bad vs C7 Z06. But that's in videos and not in person, and from this thread it makes me feel better about the C8 that I am getting. Sounds like C8 sounds almost as good!!

Also C8 got a lot more pops and crackles? around 2nd gear. C7 Z06 it's rare to hear the pops.
