For those of you who received an email that the wheels are on the way I just got a message they are in ups system. I’m on the east coast so maybe I’ll see them in a week.

I received a e-mail about a week or 2 ago stating mine were on their way to the Boat. Is that what you were referring to?
Thats the same email. I also received UPS tracking but assume that’s just a prelim for when the wheels actually arrive and are moved from the port.
That sounds great, but I thought that it takes a while to travel overseas and even longer waiting in line to reach U.S. Customs port. So I would imagine another Month or Two before UPS touches it. Please tell me I am incorrect.

The last time I purchased it took 8 weeks from production to delivery. I deleted my emails showing exact timelines but moved much faster than I had anticipated. I guess it all depends on ship arrival and how fast they are processed at the port.
Chet said something about express service at the port. I got the email 2 weeks ago they were leaving China, then got the email Sunday with the ups tracking numbers so I guess they are stateside.

Same. But when I check tracking, no updates yet but sure they will get here soon.
5) A few days later the wheels are loaded onto the container ship. A UPS or FedEx tracking code is generated a few days afterwards and sent to you. When you look to track the package on the UPS or FedEx website, it will not be live. It will be pending / inactive until it is processed at the destination port and picked up by UPS or FedEx in the U.S.
6) Wait for the container ship to travel to the Port of Los Angeles (America’s #1 container port). You can refresh the specific UPS or FedEx tracking code website all you want to check when it arrives there. The tracking code will go live / active upon arrival. We suggest checking only once per week and more frequently on week #4 after first receiving the code. We have no more information than you during this time. We have no better answer than, “It’s on a boat headed to you currently. Please check / refresh your tracking code” if you were to ask where the package is. The easy way to endure this time is to forget you bought wheels in the first place and then be surprised when they show up. A watched pot never boils, as they say. They WILL arrive. It is also this stage which varies in time. It can take a few more weeks for the ship to do its thing. There is nothing we can do to make this time any faster. You can buy Shipping by Air for a ton more money at checkout. That makes this time 15 days on average.
7) Once your wheels are offloaded in the US, your tracking code will go live. It will behave like any UPS or FedEx package heading towards your doorstep. They will arrive very fast.
Nice ... they look great!!! What finish are those and what color is your C8? Sebring Orange or Amplify Orange?
Do you have a side shot of your car? Would love to see more pics of those.
I parked in the boonies, and some woman was taking these pictures. When I approached the car she got all with the nice-car compliment and whatnot, then offered to text them to me.
Nice pics, I think.
Oh, you asked about the color. I never saw the color in person, and I have zero regrets. I did the same when I picked Sterling Blue Metallic for my '17 Grand Sport.
To all the Q's above above Aerollari in general I have this to say: Process was easy, I received mine a few months ago in the thick of the ever continuing bullish*it of, "everything costs more and takes longer because of COVID." I swear if I hear one more person say that I'm going to punch them...but I digress.... My wheels took about 12 weeks which is what the website said at the time, they arrived in new condition. They seem like great quality alum to me and I love the black ghost glazed polished. I've had the car up to 160+ no problems, also on some mountain roads with decent G force in the twists, no issues. My local tire shop "road force" balanced them for me. His only comment was his machine could not apply force across the entire rear tire because they are so wide - but his machine did give the balance job the OK. No problems with the TPS sensors. I got the OEM wheels size and used the tires that came on my car. Also used original lug nuts. Tire guy said the lugs barely fit (circumference wise) in the holes so he advised if I ever go to another shop, point that out or their sockets might scratch the inside of the lug hols a bit. He suggested having anyone just do the job by hand to avoid this. The look of the wheels on the car is incredible - takes the already awesome C8 and makes it look even more "supercar" like. Lastly, I have about 2000 miles on the wheels - so far so good. Just my experience for you to consider folks. E

I just got an e-mail today with UPS tracking #'s. I never got one saying that they were leaving China and I also never got pics of the finished wheels as some people have, but if the wheels are already here in the U.S. I'm not going to complain. I only ordered them 5 weeks ago so I certainly wasn't expecting an update this soon.

Tracking number provided well in advance of actual arrival in US. That # only goes live in their system once they are in US, and sent out for shipment. However, you are extremely lucky to have been provided an update so soon. I ordered mine on 02/10. Got email with photos completed on 04/27. Then tracking # on 05/01. Shipping usually takes 4 weeks as estimate. Just FYI
