I knew I was getting my C8 sometime in september so back in july I ordered wheels from Chet so their arrival would roughly coincide with the car.
The process went exactly as he said it would, almost down to the day, and earlier this month the wheels arrived. The boxes were almost completely smashed and 3 were torn open, so I was horrified at what I might find inside, but upon opening, I could see they were expertly packaged and padded and none suffered a single scratch.
I had mine built in 20x9 and 21x11.5 which were slightly unconventional sizes. I did this after a lot of study of the pics and setups here on the forum plus other experiences I've had with custom wheel sizing in the past on other cars. It seems like almost everyone who runs custom wheel sizes on c8s winds up with some amount of "stretch" on the tires where the sidewalls sit like / \ instead of | | like they do in a factory application. Part of this stems from the available tire sizes not necessarily matching up with the wheel width selected. I like my tire sidewalls to stand basically straight up like | | and be a tad "fat" vs what most people use, sometimes the sidewall overhangs on the wheel and provides a slight bit of protection for the rim edge which is totally lost when tires are "stretched" on and the sidewalls sit like / \ .
I had some discussion about this with chet and since I knew 325 25 21 is primarily what was available in michelin PS and I had seen that 21x12 caused that size to 'stretch" a bit, I downsized the wheel to 11.5 width to get the more "fat" fitment. We also talked about front tires and wheel width, I went with 9" width and we talked about both 255 and 265 30 tire widths. Chet specifically told me not to run 265s on the 9 wide front wheel, but I got to looking around more and decided it wouldn't be so bad. I also found out that currently, michelin PS are backordered in 255 30 but 265s were available, so that also helped my decision. I also looked at another set of custom wheels I had on another car that are 9" width that I had 275s on...those fit "fatter" but I knew that 265s would fit fine so thats what I ordered.
Once I had the tires mounted on the wheels and put the wheels on the car I knew I had made the perfect choices because fitment is exactly how I had hoped. The tires stand straight up on the wheels and are neither "stretched" nor "fat", but fit almost exactly like the stock tires on the stock wheels. Also the wheel widths and offsets line up almost perfectly flush with the car, again another goal of mine, the wheels dont stick out from the fenders but they aren't sunk inward either. As far as I can tell, none of the tires rub at all on the car, but I'll inspect it after I've driven a while for any rub marks on the front inner fender liners.
So again the setup: 20x9 265-30 front, 21x11.5 325-25 rear. These are Threshers in black ghost glaze polished. I didnt like the numbers on the center caps so I reused the original GM center caps, I used permatex ultra black silicone engine sealant, finger-smeared about a 1/8" coat on the inside of the wheel center hole, pushed the caps down inside being sure to work the entire black ring in before depressing fully, then wiped off any excess sealant with a towel. No need for any tape etc. I'm ecstatic how the setup turned out and fit the car. Even my wife questioned why I was taking the stock wheels off (on the second day I owned the car haha) until she saw the Aerolarri's on and she immediately agreed they were way better.
I also weighed the stock wheels/tires vs the aerolarris/tires during the swap. The stock 20" rears weighed in around 68lb and the aerolarri 21's weighed in around 60lb. The stock 19" fronts weighed in around 58lb and the 20" aerolarris weighed in around 53lb. So altogether the forged wheels saved almost 30lb while upsizing in diameter.
A few days late to this post, but your description / write up is super helpful. This is basically the set up I am looking to do. Please let us know in a future post if you experience any rub marks. Thanks again!

340 miles on the setup with no issues. But I haven't needed to turn the steering wheel quite to full lock while backing up, which is usually when you'd expect rubbing.
I am new to this forum. I have been reading the posts and they are very informative. Thanks to the members. I have received my AEROLARRI wheels today and I am very pleased. I signed up for a 2022 Corvette list 3-12-2, 9-16-21 status change to 2000, 9-23-21 status change to 3000, 9-25-21 status change to 3300,10-1-21 status change to 3400. According to my VIN, I should get the car produced 10-12-21, PM. I can hardly wait for the car to be delivered and put the new wheels on. My first Corvette.
I sure would like to post some pics of my C8 with my Aerolarri wheels but it's been "10 Weeks" since payment and they haven't even shipped yet as far as anyone can tell me.
If you order these be prepared for a lead time of at least 4 months to your door.

if Chet sent you pics of all 4 of your wheels, they have been shipped, you’re just waiting on them to be unloaded in California. You can always contact him to confirm but it’s all over the news about slowdowns at the ports.
This is my experience with AEROLARRI Wheels:Ordered AEROLARRI Wheels 7-20-21, completed and to the boat 8-13-21, shipping started 8-19-21 arrived at my house 10-7-21.
FYI-Mine were ordered August 3rd. Chet cannot confirm that they are even on a boat at this time. I have seen pics of rims being built and rims in boxes. I did inquire about air shipping and was told $1200 which I'm not willing to do.
I sure would like to see them on my car.
Does anyone else have an order date after Aug 3rd? Updates?
Did you ever receive any kind of tracking from anybody?
I need to make sure I'm home when they arrive.
I ordered on August 4th. Shipped on September 27th from China. Arrived on October 20th. I will have them mounted this Friday.
Chet sent me a tracking number a few days after the "label was created". According to Chet this is when it starts the shipping process in China. The tracking info didn't change (kept saying "label was created on September 27") until it was picked up by the shipping company in California. The tracking info changed on October 18th saying it was en route and expected delivery on October 21st. It actually arrived on the 20th, not bad for CA to OK. I kept checking the tracking info and knew the night before when it would actually be delivered.

I ordered August 11th. Chet was extremely responsive with answering my questions. Even a late evening phone call to finalize the order details.
Chet sent pictures of finished wheels on Sept 10th. Received tracking code on Oct 5th. Wheels arrived on Oct 26th. They look amazing and can't wait to get them put on! Futurity 21/20 Black Gloss.

Awesome news. I finally got a tracking number from PayPal but for the last couple days all it says is label created.
