They finally arrived. The chrome lug nuts clashed with the Ghost Black in some lighting conditions so I switched to black locking nuts. I modified the center caps to use my stock faces.
The offset pushes them all the way out to the limit and looks great.
I had a guy chase me down in a parking lot asking where I got them first day out.

They look really good IMO.
Looks great! I ordered UFO Ghost Glazed/Polished and looking at yours, I am hoping they are not too bright 🤦🏻♂️
@fairorth i went with Threshers in 20/21 size, stealth black gloss. Will go on a white htc. Haven’t seen a real picture of the color yet, only the matte version. Aerolarri just sent me a video the other day of one of my wheels being machined. Btw I’m also in Austin.
Have you received your wheels and if so post a pic. I ordered a set Oct 13, 2021 and still waiting. It is expected i will get them in Feb.
@srobert910 Your wheels look good on either colored car. (I got the Hurricanes in UFO Glazed/Brush.)
Did you see the AO prior to ordering, and if not, what was your reaction when you saw it for the first time?
I ask because I plan to order the AO, and was hoping to see it in person beforehand, however that hasn't happened (yet) but I'll be ordering it regardless.

Thank you
thank you. I had not seen AO before ordering it. I first saw it in person at SEMA on a z06 prototype. Just thought it was Amazing under the lights. Still didn’t see it outside in person until I saw my own car. Loved it. Pictures just don’t do it justice, It’s a very exotic looking color. I’ve now seen every color they have on the c8 except caffeine. I’m very happy that I picked AO.
could the markings and center caps be anymore cheap looking? I guess it's TRUE you get what you pay for.
I do wish you could opt them without the writing for a reasonable price difference. I can't remember how much extra it was to get them plain, but it wasn't cheap.
Your wheels look good. I have Aerolarri, Hurricane, Brushed. The wheels really set the car off. I have received many positive comments regarding the wheels and people commenting positively about the limited addition on the center cap.
In regards to reworking the stock C8 center caps to fit the Aerolarri center bores: The Aerolarri wheels came with the engraved set of center caps, i.e. "5 of 299" and they also included a set of bare backing clips taped to the inside of one of the wheel boxes. This was just a plain black face with the requisite tension clip on the back side. I took the C8 caps apart, removed the chrome bezel flags and the painted recessed top cap from their backing plates. I removed the clips on the back side of the recessed painted caps that snapped into the backing plate. I then painted the recessed caps in silver to match my Silver Flare paint. After the paint dried I glued the recessed caps to the Aerolarri bare backing clips with a generous amount of RTV and let them dry for a day. I then assembled the chrome bezels back on the painted recessed caps. They have small clips and snap into place.
The Aerolarri center bore is about 0.035" smaller than the O.D. of the Corvette chrome bezel on the center cap. It was then just a matter of rotating the center caps on my disc sander and using my calipers until I had the OD correct. I went about 0.020 smaller than the Aerolarri bore. The sanded outside edges of the Corvette chrome bezel and flags went down to white bare plastic but once recessed in the bore of the new wheel, that was not visible. The caps snapped into the wheels without any problem.
