Default Question about sharing a bad Vendor experience?

I had a bad experience with a vendor of corvette parts. Not sure if they are a certified forum vendor but I would like to share with the forum members. What are the rules around this. Can I name the vendor?

There is a specific sub-forum for sharing transactions feedback (good or bad) for either vendors or other members. Forums > Help & Feedback > Transactions Feedback. You should name the vendor/member and keep the post to factual information.

Unresolved disputes

The Forum allows a factual post on an unresolved dispute with a vendor or another member once all efforts to resolve the issue offline have been exhausted. Then, the post must be factual and cannot be used to bash the vendor or the member. Once the post has been made, it cannot be repeated in other sections or on other days.

Moderators will try to leave such threads open until everybody with direct knowledge of the issue being addressed has had a chance to provide their version of the facts. The thread must not become a running debate on the accuracy of the “facts” and may not deteriorate into an exchange of personal attacks. Neither should be used as an opportunity for speculation by those who do not have direct knowledge of the issue.

Once there has been the opportunity for the facts on all sides to be posted, the thread will be locked. It will remain in the database and will be available for review by those who are researching the topic, vendor or member. If there are updates from either the seller or the buyer after the dispute thread is closed, we will add them to the thread. Except under special circumstances, dispute threads will not be deleted after the dispute is resolved. We believe it's sometimes more useful to see how a dispute has been resolved than it is to see that a dispute had been posted.

Be forewarned: Sometimes it occurs that a seller will tell a buyer he will resolve their dispute if the buyer will delete all negative feedback. We've also seen it happen that a buyer will threaten a seller by saying they will flood this site and others with negative feedback in order to get what they want. Either of those scenarios could be considered as extortion and cannot be tolerated.

The Forum is not in a position to monitor transactions or to determine the “true facts” in most disputes. Upon request, however, the Forum will try to intervene and mediate a settlement suitable to all parties in a dispute. When issues are resolved in the matter, it will be posted to the original dispute thread so it becomes part of the searchable record. We believe that is a more useful record of performance for potential customers than would be an eBay-style rating system.

As has been our past practice, members or vendors who show a pattern of unresolved issues will be removed from Corvetteforum.com.
We strongly encourage members to check for feedback BEFORE purchasing from a vendor or another member.

Same boat, will use neither again. There's another vendor here getting close to corvettemods reputation, lousy customer service.

No plans to use them, but being in DFW I guess I could always go there

The owner will not be there. He is an absentee owner. I've tried. I live in DFW area. He's is very sketchy & has a law background. And technically you only recourse is not to do business with them again. There is some very small pint and unusual requirements regarding disputes & returns. Stay away in the future. I learned the hard way as well.

I used them and it took almost 3 months after I paid to get a cap. Never again.
