AO is not flat but glossy, it's just not metallic. My Porsche is a non-metallic they call Lava Orange, and I like it a lot. I had a Sebring Orange C7, and I liked it too, but I have a slight preference for non-metallic colors these days.
From the single panel photos, my perception is that AO is lighter (more white in it) than the Porsche Lava Orange. It reminded me of the creamsicle color.
I like Lava Orange a lot (my brother has a Boxster in that color). The AO isn't nearly as bright or as orange. It reminds me a lot of the old McLaren Orange from the CanAm days.

Oh it's glossy alright, but flat. It's (the color) not going anywhere. Flat, isn't a pejorative assessment.... My Arctic White is flat-glossy. I'm good with it. 👍
