2022 C8 order problem
Does anyone know why it’s not possible to order a 2022 C8 with the Z51 package and the big wing rear spoiler ? I'm being told
I have to get it with the spoiler that comes with the Z51 package then order an aftermarket large spoiler and pay to have it
installed.

The high wing spoiler option for body color is 5ZU or 5ZZ for carbon flash. They are not put on in the factory they ship from the LPO vender warehouse to your dealer around the time your car will arrive. The dealer has to install it. The only way it's not available is if it's on constraint at time of allocation.

Thanks for the info. My dealer was telling me the only spoiler available is the one that comes with the Z51 package but I really want the 5ZZ. Do you know if the Z51 spoiler can be deleted on the build sheet or will it have to be removed at the dealership?

When you order the high wing spoiler on a Z51, the Z51 spoiler is installed at the factory - which is good because the required mounting holes for the high wing spoiler are already present. The dealer removed the Z51 spoiler (and give it to you - it's yours, you paid for it) and installs the high wing spoiler. The cost of doing the swap is included in the cost of the option. All LPO (dealer installed options) include installation if they are ordered with the car (on the WorkBench order).

Two possibilities: there's a glitch in GM's ordering system or your dealer is clueless. If it's the first, he should contact GM through dealer channels and ask what's up.
