I accidentally (don't ask me how) ordered a 2022 Corvette with the Z51 package without the mag ride. I know its not necessary, but I wanted it. I called the dealership to ask if I could change it, they told me my order is on 3000, so the answer is no. I asked about getting the mag ride installed after the fact, they said it was $6000. Doesn't seem worth it at that point. I also know I could just sell the car (on the list for September production) and order a new one. However, I'd rather keep my car if I can.
Is there an aftermarket option I can get that provides the effects of mag ride that will work with the Z51 suspension and produce the same effects, even if it doesn't work the same mechanically?
I have no idea where they got $6k from. They probably just added up all the parts and threw a ton of labor on top. Not that it matters. GM won't support the reprogramming to make it actually function.
I think you will be fine, the car is amazing with it or without it. If it is that serious I would go on the list for another car and sell this one, you won't spend 6k out of pocket this way.
Edit ( I don't think its even possible to add after the build)

GM has allowed changes at 3000 before. Your dealer needs to contact GM/BGA (not sure what the proper way to do that is, but other dealers have done it) and ask. It will probably push the order back to the next consensus, but that's not going to have much effect on build date at this point.
To answer your question, though, I don't think there will be any way to add it after the fact, either with the authentic GM parts or aftermarket. There are so many aspects to MSRC that it would be nearly impossible, even if GM would allow the dealer to reprogram the car (or sell them a new computer). It's not just the shocks, but accelerometers on the suspension components, all the wiring, and probably more.

You need to push the higher ups to change the order. As indicated here, many people have made changes at "3000". That is not a magical event. It seems the ALL 2022 orders that were only accepted this 4-6 days ago have moved to 3000. It is 3400 wherein you are probably locked in - that is when they have scheduled the actual build. If you want the option do not take no for the answer.
3500 I believe you are screwed, I have heard of other people that changed theirs at 3000 and GM made them go to the end of the line which they complained their dealer didn't tell them would happen.
I think the simplest thing is to change your order and get the magride, go to the end of the queue and spend the extra time saving up for all the doodads you will be buying later. At least this way you have no regrets.
KW are some of the best but they’re gonna cost you $4000
Do you know if would they give me the desired result of maintaining the track performance around the track, but also giving the added comfort of a smooth ride on the street?
