IMHO, GM really should do a better job of keeping the dealer network armed with accurate, real-time Consensus/Allocation information and right now I really think there is a HUGE opportunity for GM to step up to the plate and improve upon their communication with their dealers!
I know GM wants to build/sell as many Corvettes as they possible can and I think they are doing the best they can in that arena, but their communication to to their dealer network really SUCKS!
Whole heartedly agree. Then, one more level of incompetence at the dealer level and we the customer are left in the dark.
I have the same questions as well. There are a lot of us that are right at the top of our dealers list for a 2022 and are really curious. OP, I hope you get some real answers posting it as a separate thread rather than over there with all the tip-toeing around and brown nosing that is on the MM thread!
It has nothing to do with tip toeing and brown nosing. It has to do with people acting like impatient children and wanting ever-more info from a dealer that is open and honest with all info they get.
Be angry at GM. Demand answers from GM. I'm totally on board with that. But what was occuring in the MM thread was ridiculous. And it simply needed some "tough love" to make it clear to people that hounding an honest and up-front dealer will NOT expedite the process and could even have the opposite effect.
Bottom line is if people want answers they need to direct their venom at GM and stop hounding certain dealers on a weekly (and at times more often) basis.

Agreed there was some of that for sure and I was and never have been one of em! There also was quite a bit of tip-toeing around and brown-nosing as well, which is kind of sickening, so it sounds like we will have to agree to disagree on that. The fact is, there are lots of frusterated people out there and yes, it's not MM's or other dealers fault, but even though GM is doing a lousy job communicating with the dealer network, the dealers need to take some ownership in communication and some are way better than others at this!
If I was a dealer I would send out a mass email on supposed allocation days to everyone on my list and say hey...gm gave us this many allocations for the week , or gm didn't give any allocations this consensus.

My dealer posted 5 allocations at 3000 for 2022 MY, yesterday. None were mine and I didn't expect any to be at this point. However good to see movement!
