Default Any August Allocations?

Did anybody here get an August allocation? I stopped by my dealer today and he said he got nothing this time around. I guess I was very fortunate to get mine last time.

Default Well, do we have allocation numbers today or not?

The word on the street for the past couple of weeks was that the first round of August allocation (numbers) was going to be released today. That info came from some pretty reliable sources. Now as we roll into the evening I can find no evidence that any dealers have received those numbers. Has anyone heard anything?

Here's one source (and this guy is always spot on accurate)

I have the same questions as well. There are a lot of us that are right at the top of our dealers list for a 2022 and are really curious. OP, I hope you get some real answers posting it as a separate thread rather than over there with all the tip-toeing around and brown nosing that is on the MM thread!

I sent a note to one of the dealers that I am on the list for, and haven't heard a peep yet...

I agree! It was no different when the first 2022 allocations came out. Lots of tip-toeing and brown nosing for sure. I couldn't have said it any better!

Not sure if this helps - my dealer says 'No Corvette allocations on consensus today'. At least not for him (Ohio).

The word is nothing this first August consensus round. Hopefully we'll see something in the second August consensus 2 weeks from now. Which was the case in July.

This appears to be the case across the board. Here's hoping we'll see something on the 19th.

I'm concerned that GM will issue the same "one week's worth" of allocation at the end of the month. For the larger dealers that means roughly 25% of normal allocation. If true, it is going to be a major bummer for buyers at the end of the "Big 3" lists. MM alone has over 1200 people on the 2022 waiting list...

The first consensus for August was pushed back one week.

IMHO, GM really should do a better job of keeping the dealer network armed with accurate, real-time Consensus/Allocation information and right now I really think there is a HUGE opportunity for GM to step up to the plate and improve upon their communication with their dealers!

I know GM wants to build/sell as many Corvettes as they possible can and I think they are doing the best they can in that arena, but their communication to to their dealer network really SUCKS!
