Just read this on another forum.
I read an interesting article yesterday (8/12) on Corvette Blogger that read "Earlier this week we offered up a Corvette production update that was based on what we hear happening through our dealers and the NCM, and it does look like the rumors we heard about TPWs for 2021s falling to the week of September 13th were incorrect. Last night, Chevrolet sent out a Consensus update to its dealers and they are saying unequivocally that 2022 Corvette production is now scheduled to start the week of September 6th."

Deposit with MM on 1-12-21, #786, expected 21 delivery Aug-Sept. So close, got <60 before June's canceled allocations.
Now at 37 awaiting next allocation batch in 12 days.

First 2021 now 2022
My original deposit was with Mike Furman at Criswell on August 3, 2020. I did process to 1100 two months ago and then the order was pushed off to 2022 by GM. Two days ago, I got an 1100 status update from Mike for the 2022. Just waiting for the allocation which should happen soon. Maybe an October/November delivery if I'm lucky...

So now that it’s at 3000 status I am going to pull my deposit at the other dealer I think.

From what he said it was just that one. They are a fleet/truck dealer more so than vettes. It’s where I buy my trucks. Anyway, he called me and said and allocation popped up and if I’m interested it needed to be ordered immediately.
So now that it’s at 3000 status I am going to pull my deposit at the other dealer I think.
