I just heard from Shane. They didn't run 2022 today. They were finishing up 2021's. Said mine should be produced tomorrow. Last 6 of VIN 5100028. FYI

MacMulkin - Deposit accepted July 20, 2021 and at that point was 1203 on the list.

Well that would be great news. Because if they "start" the 2022's tomorrow, that will give them 2 full days - Thursday and Friday and with my VIN of 325 I should be built on Friday. Current TPW is 9/13.

I have a TPW of 9/20 and my vin is even lower than yours. I'm thinking they don't build in order.

I guess you get your VIN once you get to event code 3400?

My deposit to MM was on July 1, 2021 @ # 1039. As of today, I am at 899.
My best guess is a July 2022 build date. Could be sooner and possibly later.
I’m in no hurry. I have my 2014 built in the first month of production (#1525) to enjoy and my 2004 with only 1,210 original miles

I also am wondering the community expectation on TPW vs delivery. I am hearing average of about 3 months from some folks. Any agree or disagree? I know this varies for thing like striping (where it has to stop at a 3rd party).

interested in factual based observations based on real delivery times. Not guesses please

I am at #110 today with MacMulkin.
Hoping to hear from Shane Malone soon and maybe Santa can be real good to me and deliver my new 2022 C8 before Xmas.

I am updating this info today (10/5) so it may help others who are waiting for their orders to advance, just like me,
1100 9/15/21
2000 9/16/21
3000 9/21/21
3100 10/4/21
Lori at the Corvette Museum notified me that my TPW is 10/25.
If there are not delays and if everything goes as well as expected I may have my new 2022 C8 delivered by mid November.
If I am overly optimistic please update my delivery date expectation.

I put you in on line 29 Can you give me the date you got on their wait list. I'll guess around 2/15/21

Here is a post I picked up on another forum. From what I am hearing from multiple sources nothing seem normal with the C8 order cycles.

The wait times for ordering a 2022 should be much quicker than for the 2021 - hopefully. In June of this year, and again recently, I looked through a lot of pages of posts for the '21 BGA Production and came up with the following rough estimates. Note that the "deposit to status 3000" appears to have been 6-15 months, very rough estimate (10 months for me using a mid-sized dealer).
1. during 1Q21, about 8 weeks from 3000 to 3400,
2. during 2Q21, about 11 weeks from 3000 to 3400,
3. note that there were weeks' long stoppages in Feb and May,
4. during 3Q21, 8-16 weeks from 3000 to 3400,
5. about 2 weeks from 3400 to 3800 for all of the 2021 models,
6. 3800 to delivery was about 2-3 weeks.
These numbers have wide ranges because there are so many variables. If GM gives out a very large allocation one month, it will take longer to get from 3000 to 3400 for most of those people. BUT, I can tell you that getting your 3000 is a very memorable milestone!!! Getting to 3400 and getting your VIN is another great milestone and hopefully someone will track VIN production for the '22 MY like Murray did for the '21 MY.

You are quite close with your guess, it was 2/11/21.

I got on list for 2021 at small, local dealer in February. Actually turned down a chance to order in March, thinking if I waited until July I could order a Z06. Yes, I was naive and ill informed.

Got a call on September 2 to come in and order. Went immediately and ordered the 2022 HTC, red mist, natural, lift, magnetic ride, performance exhaust.

Was given Workbench paper showing TPP of 09/27/2021-10/03/2021.

As of yesterday I’m at 2000.

When I placed order dealer said I might see delivery by 10/22.

Total newbie here, first Corvette.

Thoughts on how realistic any of this is? Especially the 10/22 delivery?

@Harvey Gluck's Son have your TPW changed? It should had changed by now if your VIN number is truly lower than 028. Anyway, you haven't posted your VIN#.
