Email Shane or Lori. Concierge will only ever tell you 4000. It could actually be 4D00 or 4B00. And either way, you're still closer to getting your car than 99% of people so hang in there.

Better than mine I'm still 4D00- I ordered with HTC so I'm hoping it takes a few extra days due to that and that I was not picked as one where they spend a few weeks with it....

Don't be so down. I think there is confusion over what 4D00 actually constitutes. There are people who spent 2 days at 4d00 and had there car shipped and there are people who have spent multiple weeks stuck at 4B00. Just saying, 4D00 isn't inherently better or worse than 4B00.

I am 10/18 TPW but looks like my vin just missed the cut off this week.

I asked my dealer about doing a Courtesy delivery since I moved during this process out of state. I was told that courtesy delivery needed to be part of the original order. No changes can be made.

Is that correct statement?

That is correct. Just have them deliver to the dealer then ship it to yourself. Preferably enclosed. Don't know how far you moved from the dealer, but it shouldn't be too expensive.

My scheduled delivery went as planned. Car has 4 miles on the clock and is getting PPF full front installed currently. Pick it up tomorrow after the PPF is applied. Then I plan to polish and ceramic coat the exterior. Will post more photos in a new thread once it is ready. Here is a pic at the PPF installer.

Default Update on my order

This morning, I asked Corvette Concierge about my status. Same story...go through the robot, say done & dissatisfied, do you want to talk to an advisor, yes. The human looks it up and gives you the form response 4000, blah, blah, blah. Then this time I tried a new question: "Can the Corvette Concierge provide ANY event code status higher than 4000, say, 4200 for example?". Tick, tock. came back with a 4B00, bayed event. OK, at least it's something.

I wanted to make one last request of Shane at the NCM. He complied and returned with this: "It’s bayed for transport. It’s at the discretion of the transport company as to when it ships out. They typically wait until they have a full load going to a particular part of the country." That's is what I was expecting. They need a full truckload heading to a region before they will depart. I understand, it is what it is.

I then called OnStar. I was hoping that they could activate the account since I have the VIN. No, she said it requires the blue button push. However, she did offer to try and ping the vehicle. She did and it is active. They can locate the vehicle from their console. She offered that if I would call them they can track it down and at least tell me where it is. Not perfect, but it's something.

I also heard a little birdie say that there is a VERY fluid ETA of 10-22. Holy crap. That's the day after tomorrow!!

EDIT: I forgot to add that a big muckety-muck in the Corvette admin told me my build was finished on 10-14@14:10. To a numbers dude, that's cool!

The Chevy chat, right after you say hi and it asks what you would like help with, just type in Live advisor. You can skip the other canned responses.

Cayman I'm using you as a guinea pig, your car was built a few days before mine and is also at that status, once yours exits that status I'm hoping mine will a few days later, though anything could happen.
