What he was trying to convey is that his car is already on the production line. He already has a VIN and the car was supposed to be produced on Thursday. But for some reason there are delays at BGA and so far, no one has been able to give any updates on production including live chat.
Just an update on my car, It still has not been shipped, was status 4D00 since 3/12, invoiced to dealer 10/22, delivery ETA to dealer 10/26, Now DELAYED, ETA to dealer November 2nd!

The added time from the poor performance Friday, gave me time to investigate shift details. Thanks to the founder at MidEngineCorvetteForum.com, John, he provided some insights as to the shift operations. Still some assumptions, but it's just for fun, right?

#5304 was last one built yesterday (Mon). Beyond having to do the math from there one has to guess how many will be built each day which lately has varied from -0- to 186.
I went 3400 for 10/18 but production seems to be delayed. Concierge told me today was delayed to call back on Friday. Don’t know what that is about.

We've been tracking cars that went to event code 2000/3000 in the month of September. These codes are when the car was matched to an allocation, thus the thread name. The purpose was to provide data that would give others an idea of the timing between events, since that seems to be the most unknown and nebulous of the ordering process.

My Red Mist HTC was built a few hours before yours on 10/21 and just heard from dealer that it should be in Phoenix on 10/28........I would assume we are on the same transport if you are taking delivery in Phoenix.

My car was built 10/11, been 4000 ever since, I am in Nebraska and still no car. Was supposed to be here today but pushed back to November 2nd. Hope you don't have to wait as long as I have....
