I heard on the Corvette Today podcast from Keith Cornett of Corvetteblogger.com that all the C8.Rs are officially spoken for. All 1000 sold in just the September and October allocations.

I am having my mirrors and wing end caps wrapped in red prior to ceramic coating next Tuesday. I am also having the calipers painted red.

It's appears that you have no concerns about retained value of the Limited 1000 Special Edition with these changes, have you conducted any research regarding the potential value impact if any?

I'm asking since I'm going to make some changes to my #644, but all of my changes are going to completely reversible... Front Splitter, Side Skirts, AWE Exhaust, Tinted Windows, Front Grill Guards.

It's just a little paint on a few parts , I think it makes it look alot better and brings it more along the lines of the actual C8.R . I don't think it will have much affect on resale value. Now if he painted the whole car that would be a different story

The retained value? I have investments, this isn’t one of them. I bought the car to enjoy it!

It’s get very serious then you pay $100;000 plus for the Corvette… don’t you think? But your point is understandable.

The reason I asked, that VIN is setting on a used car lot, I've not looked at car, but I checked dealers web page, they just added C8R decals.
