It's a really interesting story that incubated over several years until the final design appeared and was adopted by GM as the official racing mascot. I read about it recently, I think it was in one of the last couple of issues of Corvette magazine? I think Jake is awesome. I have the Jake/Corvette Racing center caps on my wheels and several C8.R shirts with him on it.
I'm not really into the 2022 C8.R special edition cars, but the one thing I do like is that Jake is on the waterfall between the seats.
and BTW, I am most certainly well past the millennial age group. More like the very tail end of the baby boomer set-you are never too old to appreciate Jake....:-)
