So I feel like I have joined the club. After 3550 miles of flawless performance of my 2021 HTC. I was stopped in the Costco parking lot by a couple of admirers of the car. It was a fair enough afternoon so after giving them the briefing on the car, etc., I said "watch this I'll put the top down for you." (One of the guys was surprised to hear that it was a convertible). I fired up the beast, the windows came down, the cover raised and....nothing. The actual roof just stayed frozen in place. Reversed the process and tried again. A few times. Stopped the car and got out. Tried it remotely with the FOB and nothing. Got back in, fired it up and tried again. Windows came down, tonneau cover went up and the top did not move. Moderately embarrassing. Now what? Anyone have a similar top operation problem?

Sorry to hear that.😟 But it should be covered under warranty. 🍹Keep us apprised of the fix; inquiring minds want to know, and those of us with HTC too.
Haven't had that problem, but a quick check might be the fuses. Rear fuse block between seats. Check your manual to be sure it's the rear panel. That isnt it, dealer time. Good luck
