In 2019 - My daughter and son-in-law were thinking of selling their 2010 Honda FIT, with 117,000 miles and a lot of scratches and door dings. They were offered $1200 on a trade-in in 2019. They just sold that car yesterday w/128,000 miles- two years later to CarMax for $4,500. They bought their new SUV at MSRP. Even the selling dealer was offering $3,500 on that Honda. Now consider the C8. $10k - $20k over MSRP doesn't seem that crazy...
