I recently purchased a 2021 C8 with 1K miles, it is equipped with the Z51 package but the Calipers don't have Z51 printed on them. Can they be Z51 calipers or does it need to be printed on the caliper?
You can use a VIN decoder to determine if it is a Z51 if you don't have the original window sticker. The calipers may have been repainted.
A Z51 will have holes inboard of the front radiator grills for brake ducts. A non-Z51 will be blanked off. And there will be a third radiator in the passenger side side inlet.
The build sheet and window say Z51 brakes, Thanks.
Easiest answer then is calipers were painted. Not that hard to do. I did mine on my C7, and applied Z51 stickers readily available on eBay and I clear-coated over them. Worth considering on yours?
Except you can get a delete option for the aero, so still not definitive. No delete option for the extra cooling.
OP has a 2021. If memory serves the Z51 spoiler delete was not available until 2022 MY...or maybe I'm thinking of the low profile spoiler. Seems odd that the Calipers don't have Z51 on them if it is a Z51. I wonder if the previous owner added a few Z51 items (like the spoiler, front splitter) and he bought a non-Z51 car.

Would be kind of strange if the calipers were repainted with only 1K miles on the car. But anything is possible I guess. Perhaps the original owner did not like the color of the calipers as ordered on the car.

If the build sheet and window sticker say Z51 (see prior post by the OP) that's doubtful.
Use your phone, scan the QR decal on the inside of the drivers door. That will translate a list of build codes and options that were factory. It is not a complete list as the build should would be. But it will have the major codes for the car. Look up in the sticky threads Zymurg have put together a list of codes and translation. Between that and above suggestions, you should get a pretty clear picture. Ultimate answer, order a factory build sheet from the NCM sight.
