Installed my Scrape Armor Grill Guards. As Dave O stated above, small hands would really help. I have large hands and it was tight but doable. Once the underneath covers are removed, there are rubber pieces that can be easily distorted to allow your hand access up in there. Word of caution, the fins on the radiator condensors are VERY Fragile, so be careful with your knuckles hitting them. They are so fragile, I think just looking at them will bend them, LOL! I removed the factory Accelerate Yellow trim pieces (I ordered body colored accents) as well and installed my Carbon Fiber pieces including axing the Z51 front splitter and replacing it with Carbon Fiber. As stated by others, the Scrape Armor Grill Guards are 1st class in every way and totally worth the cost IMHO!
I as very thankful that I have a 4 post lift, as I'm sure my old bones laying on the floor would have given me grief in more than one way!

Here are some pics..
Looks awesome!!! Love the carbon fiber additions. And a much better pic of the installed grill than I provided. Agree about the fins, gotta be careful with your hands during the install.
i received mine yesterday, yet haven't installed them yet so i apologize if my comments are going to be self explanatory once completed... but i understand the guards are designed to be removable for cleaning. do the panels on the bottom of the C8 need to be unscrewed/removed each time you intend to clean the radiator guards? also sounds like some push pin connectors are hard to access, especially from behind. i like the selling point they are supposed to be convenient to access for cleaning removal. just doesn't appear that way in my head after looking at the installation instructions considering the pieces which must be removed and how it may require a lift and contortionist-moves to install.

Yes, they can be removed for cleaning. Is it practical to do this? Probably not. You would have to get the car in the air, remove the bottom pieces just to have access to the screens again. However, once this is done, you could just pop the pin connectors and you could then just drop them out. But it's all the prep work to get to this point that would be the issue.
TAPE SOME CARDBOARD to front of condensers before installing SCREENS??? mine are being shipped- thanks
this is a great recommendation! i plan to repurpose the scrape armor packaging for that. i'm thinking the box top and bottom cutouts will work out perfectly. thank you!
pretty simple- cut a piece of cardboard- put a 3 inch piece of packing tape at top hanging off one inch to fasten at top- hand can’t hit fins-
when installing push pins fasten the top center on Then the outboard one at bottom- then install remaining pin- bottom outside hardest to put in- waited 4 month to get from dealer -NO MUG FOR ME
Here’s my only note or recommendation in addition to the installation instructions. I found that in the amount of time between installing my left and right radiator screens that the single tube of plastic ‘primer’ had evaporated. I would have been better off priming both sides at the same time instead of completing the left side and then moving on to the right side. Just my take. Pleased with the fit and finish.
Is it plastic? I did not see where they say that. The custom car grills and some others on the market are made from aluminum sheet that is perforated. The ones from C8 vette parts on line are "laser cut stainless steel". They are 349 dollars. Agree the price is high, though.
Their website says it is Black Powder Coated CNC aluminum
The SA guards are satin black, powder-coated, CNC aluminum. The higher price is not surprising in light of the fact that SA incurred extra costs getting their guards certified as a "Genuine GM Part."
I got mine installed today! Fitment was perfect and the install wasn't too bad, took me maybe 2 hours or so. Their included instructions and YouTube video were easy to follow and pretty clear. I took a few minutes prior to starting the install to straighten out a few bent fins with a small flathead screwdriver.
