I took the SD card out, put it in my Dell laptop (just acquired this year). It had everything necessary to view the videos. I can even extract and save short segments of it, with the stuff that it came with. My old lap top would not read the SD card. That was either because I inadvertently deleted something required to read it, or possibly it was an actual hardware problem.

PDR I set it to auto record, but before I shut off the car do I need to turn it off? Or just leave it the whole time and it will auto record and does its thing fine? ( I got a few corrupted files but I am still playing around with it, not sure if it's the turning off the car or something else that caused it)
