Anyone applied a screen protector to the touch screen? I had TechArmor screen protectors on my C7 and Tucson but they don’t make one for the C8.
Recommendations?

Someone did offer a recommendation, and I purchased it from Amazon. No link, but here's a photo. It was easy to apply and works great. Screen protector
I recommend against this, to be honest. In 1.5 years with my C8, I don't have a single scratch on it. The car came with a microfiber wiping cloth which cleans it up nicely. Just my opinion.
I"m curious how the long term wear is on the C8s. My C7 has some worn spots from frequent contact where it looks like the coating has come off the screen.
3.5 months and I haven't even removed the plastic film from the factory.....lol
Be careful about how long you keep the plastic film on (and I don't know how long is too long).
The film is meant for temporary protection and wasn't designed to hold up indefinitely. It can start breaking down over time and become a real PITA to remove.
The issue can eventually be that it is very difficult to remove and doesn't cover screen 100% which can lead to edge distortion of icons. Having had my C8 for almost a year, you rarely touch the screen anyway. Use the steering wheel controls for radio stations and volume, center console buttons for HVAC, and voice for navigation.
XPEL makes and interior PPF kit . Horsepowerobsessed on YouTube had it installed on his Red C8 .
Looked great but I’m nervous about water around my dash.
I ordered this XPEL film. I just put a towel around the vents area while applying.
It's not easy to apply. You need to have some skill. If you are the person that has trouble with film on a cellphone screen, you are best probably to find an installer.
It has some funky areas around the volume **** where the film has thin areas. Anyway. it is working great on my C8 infotainment screen.
Protect from what? I've never had any issues with such in any vehicles. It's not like something that's out in the environment, tossed unthinkingly all over the play most of the time. All the best!
