I have been toying with and using different tire combinations in Autocross. I still don't know the ideal amount of rake. "The amount of front end lower than the rear". In most cases it is where i measure from that is the lifting points on the frame. The stock was around 1/8" from my measurements. I now run almost 3/8". I am going to different tires next season and would like a starting point. Any Ideas?
First let me profess my ignorance. I'm not an aerodynamicist. Haven't been near a wind tunnel in 50 years. etc etc....
The ideal rake is most likely the one that comes from the factory. They've had computers, and years to get the best angle of attack for the car. ..
Don't overthink this. You're most likely better off spending your time honing your skills than you are in changing hardware. The better driver will win in an inferior machine.

Right, like blaming your lousy golf scores on the clubs (or the *****).
Yep your correct! Hundred of trips around the track with the fine tuning by expert drivers is what is behind the factory setup.
the guy who does the cassis tuning is a personal friend. Oh and on the driving course he’s better than any of us.
