Has anyone installed any exhaust parts designed/manufactured by 2M Fabrication? I'm curious on the fitment and quality. They state the headers and pipes are 304 stainless. The pricing seems to be about 1/2 of the going rate for C8 headers and includes the cat delete pipe.
No dog in this discussion, but while I haven't completed the 8 page thread, at post #108 it does get interesting about the company and the product(s). I'm also a bit surprised at their website and how there's nothing on it other than some product pictures, not even a phone number. ymmv https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...brication.html
I have their high flow cats and love them. Performance shop who installed was worried they may not fit well or throw a cell, they went on fine and 5k miles later no cel. Absolutely love the sound, don't need an aftermarket exhaust with these on imo.

Awesome. Thanks for the info and link. For the price, I may just get a set and enjoy the rumble.
They are pretty popular in the Mustang world cause they're very reasonably priced. I avoided them in the past due to claimed fitment issues and customer service problems.
If I want to 'test' a vendor before buying something quasi expensive, I send them a specific product question. Their contact form, email, and a physical address should all be available on the site. If not, the question is moot. I move on. Then judge both the content and the turnaround of their response. Before buying our carbon fiber steering wheel, I sent one of the vendors I had never heard of a question. Should have been simple to answer. Take them two minutes max. I never heard from them. So they never heard from me again. When it comes to customer service silence is not golden. Find out now not too late.

Here is a flat-out lie from their website too: "OEM gaskets do not fit with any aftermarket sport cats on the market."
OEM gaskets don't fit because they went with cheap generic flanges, but this is not the case for many of the quality brands available (just about all of them, actually).
"Same core catalyst materials used by companies like Kooks, LTH, and Fabspeed,"
So it's perfectly clear, despite their misleading claims, the cats they are selling are generic (likely Chinese or similar) 200-cell cores which are not EPA-approved 49-state legal. Kooks uses GESi G-Sport GEN2 cores (North American), LTH uses GESi cores (North American), and Fabspeed uses HJS (German). A single quality cat core direct from the core manufacturer costs about what they're selling their complete set for; based on the cost for cores alone, a quality set of sport cats should cost approximately $1500+/set.
Everyone is free to do as they wish as I have exactly zero skin in the game, but just doing what I can to share actual facts to help avoid others from being misled.
Mine fit great, no issues after 5k miles and sound amazing. Has a 'sort' of new Z06 raspy sound, very unique and I get compliments and thumbs up everywhere I go.
Does it increase the volume inside the cabin a bit? I’m looking for a bit more volume from the engine from inside.
definately! Was exactly what I was looking for sound wise, louder in cabin and really nice outside the car. No need for aftermarket exhaust imo unless you want a different look or a different sound. The highflow cat option gives it a really nice amplified sound.
That's great news! Thank you for the info. Did you install them yourself or use a shop in the PHX area? I'm getting quotes for the install as the install is probably a little more than I want to tackle.
I purchased their Sport Cats with heat blankets. Will be installing next week on my NPP equipped car. Very excited to hear the car rumble!
Mario, I have a new C8 Z51 coupe and interested in ordering the 2M Sport Cats with my personal install. What do you think of these cats now and did you install yourself? I appreciate your reply. Thanks!
