Default 2m fabrication

Has anyone heard or done business with these guys?
Looks like they have some C8 parts out now, shipping was supposed to start around November 15th.
They got some good "fair" prices, and quality looks good from their pictures. Anyone have further information or first hand experience?

Yes they are. They look identical to the LTH parts. Parts are made from T304SS and there parts are coated in a high temp ceramic coating. 200 CEL cats just like everyone else uses. Headers are 1-7/8" with 2-7/8" collectors. Cat delete pipes include O2 spacers and they say they have not seen any CELs.

But has anyone actually put them on a C8? What were the gains?

Those are even good for Camaro prices, for ceramic coated stainless plus cat test pipes. Maybe even better tha Camaro prices for 1 7/8 inch tubes.. most of those I looked at were 409 stainless.... not sure if that makes a difference.

i wonder if there is a need for heat shielding?

Do you know what type of ceramic coating? I might buy a pair but my car wont be delivered for months. I was going to cerakote or Jet-hot coat the header I purchase.

For LTH and the 2M here you can buy heat blankets - if you notice some of the other brands Soul and Fabspeed they are wrapped. You can get the wrapping online for $50. Not sure if its needed as people have installed LTH without it and report no issues. But for $50 if you want it.

@EVL-Z06 Yes there is a thread on this forum that shows some people have gut the stock cats.

If the company doesn't have a phone number that works and customer service that responds (not saying that this company does or doesn't ) then doesn't matter how good or bad the product is in my opinion.

first thing I checked is can I call them no number on the site no email address no purchase

They did respond to my email quickly but cannot guarantee no codes. So I'm in hold off mode right now/

"We cannot guarantee that you won’t throw a cel, but we have not seen any CEL’s in testing with either our sport cats or our cat deletes (which come with o2 spacers).

We do not do blankets for our cats. We paint them with a ceramic based paint to keep temps down but you can use heat blankets on top of our coating if you choose to do so. "

if it’s true that it’s the same 200 cell cat then they should confidently say it won’t give a cel. The other manufacturers do not through a cel

the cat delete pipes will through a cel 100% sure unless you use a micro cat or spacer in between the pipe and the o2 sensor

As per the website PREORDER - EXPECTED TO SHIP AROUND NOVEMBER 15, 2020

2020+ C8 Corvette Sport Catalytic Converters.

Same core catalyst materials used by companies like Kooks, Fabspeed, and Soul, but at a price that isn’t taking advantage of consumers.

- 3" T304 Stainless Steel, made in the USA

- TIG welded and back-purged

- Can be used with stock headers or any aftermarket headers

- Premium 200cel metallic catalytic substrate for a free flowing exhaust without any check engine lights

- These are the same Sport Cats that come with our headers when you order them as a complete set and choose the catted option.

- Lifetime warranty

From my emails with them I believe they don't guarantee CELs with the cat delete pipes with the O2 spacers that are included, but they say they haven't seen them with their testing. Who knows how long their testing was though. I'd go with the sport cats anyway, especially if its the same material all the other guys have been using with great results.
I also almost bought a set of sport cats for that that price but stopped short of it and posted up the info here first to see what others have to say. There's videos out there on YouTube with their parts on Mustangs.

The bigger question is who manufactured the actual cat!!!!! That’s the bigger question...who cares who welds the flanges on.
