2m ships all the bolts you need to get everything put together. No need in opening up holes or getting other bolts.
Those are the gasket i ordered triangle style gaskets part # 23194206. Now I did order the headers and cats and they came with 1/2 bolts for the collectors.
Picture showing the gasket bolt hole that will need to be open up or use a smaller bolt.

Thank you sir. That is exactly what I needed to see. So, do I need three of these for the cat delete pipes? Do I use my existing gasket for the fourth?

yes, 3 for the install and reuse the driver side rear donut style. I’m going to buy this in a 1/2 or 5/16 to try and open up the bolt holes.
Hot damn!!!!!!!
i ordered Sunday night. They arrived today, Wednesday! Of course they are right here in Cali, but wow! Lots of bolts, nuts, O2 sensor extenders, but no instructions. Quality is great!
I’m auto crossing the C3 this weekend, so it’s my next weekend project. I have a HTC and I watched a few you tube videos. I think I’ll remove the rear bumper, again, and the rear trunk lid. Then put the car on my two post lift, and try to do this without removing the air box. I’ll take pictures.
header weight:
sport cat weight:
catless pipe weight:
I’m all for increasing and “improving” sound. But it would also be great to know if you are able to drop weight and how much.
Thanks!
I'll be happy to weigh my sport cats with blankets for you. I can't imagine much of a difference between original cats and sports cats with blankets. Your biggest savings will be cats to catless.
Most sport cats shed 10-15 lbs. depending which core you go with. The Corsa/Cicio/Paragon/aFe cats all lose about 12 lbs. vs. stock cats w/heatshields.
I also have aFe Twisted Steel headers and combined with the Corsa cats I dropped roughly 25 lbs.

They are in. A very difficult pita install. The rear bumper has to come off. The airbox has to come out, the header heat shields have to come out. I tried. Took me about 20 hours over three days. Hire a professional if you can afford it. You need a strong magnet and will have to remove the lower tray. Many screws and tools will fall into the engine compartment. You also need very skinny fingers capable of 30 ft lb torque.
But........It sure as hell is worth it. The sound is awesome. WOT and Redline are amazing,........ in tour mode. Z mode is hairy as hell. This is the way a mid engine exotic car should sound. My only complaint is the very conservative 6500 rpm redline. I take my 427s to 7000rpm regularly. I'm manually shifting more just to hear the shifts at higher rpms, and the downshifts.
MakeErLoud's videos were very helpful because I have a HTC. NO CEL so far.

I don't think the rear bumper *has* to come off. A long extension with a swivel should be sufficient to access the bottom cat bolts from the underside of the rear (may have to jack the rear up a bit). I was able to get mine off like this, but I also have an aftermarket exhaust so I didnt have to battle with the fat stock muffler either.

The high wing gets in the way of all the work that has to be done removing/installing the air box, and work around it. After unbolting the muffler, I left it hanging, and didn't have to remove it.

It does get in the way but ultimately it doesn't have to come off. I was able to get to everything I needed to either by accessing from the sides or simply but standing/sitting in the trunk. I personally wouldn't want to remove the bumper if I didn't have to.
anyone who is running the catless bypass pipes notice the smell after? i am trying to decide if i want to go sport cats or bypass pipes and would love to hear from someone who has them installed.

i have the 2M sport cats and I smell it a bit. I imagine the bypass pipes would be a worse.
I only smell gas at startup, but I smelled that with the original cat. But like I said, I have a few cars that are pre emission, non cat cars, and I’m used to it. Go with the high flow cat and open the garage door before cold starts. The sound is so wort it!

LOL to late just placed my order for catless i figured if i hate the smell ill remove them sell them and get catted.
I placed my order for some cat bypass pipes on Monday and got the labe for shipping but says waiting on item. How long did people wait for there items to actually ship?
I installed the Sport cats last evening, the only issue was the orientation of the O2 spacers/sensors....so I wasn't able to clip the plug connection for the sensors to the back of the air box.
The sound was awesome, but since it was late I didn't want the neighbors mad....

Too late
I have aFe headers + Corsa cats, typically leave for work around 6am, and have received "comments" from the lady across the street. Sometimes when I leave extra early, today for example, as soon as I fire the engine I'll quick flip to Weather mode until I idle out of the neighborhood which quiets it down a bit.
