Awesome! Are you replacing all the gaskets? Please update when you get it done.

Cats and blankets and replacement gaskets ordered. I'm excited. Will post pics of the install. Also ordered replacement exhaust tips. Will try to do both at the same time.

I have had my 2m cats on for about 8 months now and 6k miles and love them, no cel and the sound is amazing. I used Kooks heat blankets, they fit 95% correctly and found them on sale for cheap. Just thought I'd throw my two cents in.

Does the exhaust have an un-burnt gas smell?

Did you reuse your old gaskets? I ordered replacement gaskets for my 2m cats but from cursory observation it doesn't look like they'll fit.

Got my 2M fabrication sports cats in the mail today. Packaging sucked but the box did make it in one piece somehow so that's good. It looks like they've added a heat shield that's spot welded to the cat which was a nice surprise. Not entirely sure if the kevlar sleeves are needed anymore. Unfortunately if anyone was thinking of getting them ceramic coated you're out for luck. The nicest part of these cats is the sleeves to be honest. The welds are all pretty sloppy and the finish leaves alot to be desired. The flanges are not smooth like they are in the pics on their site. They did include the O2 extenders and all the hardware required. For less than half the price of the competition I'm pretty happy with the quality. Other than smoothness of the mating surfaces, and the extra heat shielding, everything quality wise matches up with the website pics. Hoping to pick up the car tomorrow where it will go to get ppf put on. Will try to install these next week but I have family visiting so that might be tough. I'll keep this thread updated as I go. My biggest issue might be that I ordered replacement gaskets that might not fit. The welds on corsa cat flanges are way nicer than these. I'll find out soon enough. Also, I've got tons of kevlar fibers on my hands now. Should of worn gloves. 😟

You wouldn't happen to have any pics of the gaskets?

Looks like pretty decent heat shielding for free. Wonder how that is attached though?

it looks like they had a bunch of spot welds all around. One of the welds was already loose out of the box probably from getting beat up during shipping though. They stuffed those things in a box that was way too small for them with no protection whatsoever.

Unfortunately had a CEL come on this morning after 100 miles with the Sport Cats. Got it checked and it’s P219B (Fuel Trim Cylinder Balance Bank 2) and P0157 (HO2S Circuit Low Voltage Bank 2 Sensor 2).

The cats were installed with the O2 Spacers, so a bit confused why this came up. Any thoughts?

Any damage to the O2 sensor wiring?

Doesn’t look like it, but here are pictures of both sides just in case.

Ticking noise from the engine while cruising is also now noticeably louder. Thinking it’s the injectors. Not sure if that’s normal after install.

Your issue is with the right side o2 sensor that's plugged into the extender. Is plugged in fully on the harness side? Is in on tightly? The wire looks good. It's not getting the proper reading so you're getting the fault code. Pretty sure the trim fault code is because of the O2 sensor fault.

Right side as in passenger side right? I’ll unplug and plug it back in.
