Thanks. It looks like everyone is going this route because the rail covers are factory red. Is that true for 2022 corvettes as well. Mine is supposed to be built the week of 4/11.
I took my paint code number to an automotive paint supply place and had them mix up a 6 ounce can because a wanted to brush on the paint, not spray it.
This picture is from when it was done, inside down in my basement. A few weeks ago, when the weather warmed up here, I taped off the metal pieces on both sides, then I took it outside and sprayed a gloss clear coat on the entire cover, which was just all of the plastic area. I do not have a pic of that, but it looks great.
