I have owned 7 Corvettes since 04 July 1962. My 1st was a 1962 Corvette purchased at Hessell Chevrolet in Harbor City CA. I paid $3895.00 for it and remember driving down CA Hwy 101 and it was so powerful that when I hit the gas, I was pushed back into the seat. However my car insurance was very expensive since I was an assigned risk, so after only one year I had to sell my Vette because I could not afford the insurance for it. But in 1982, I bought my 2nd Corvette and all was right with the world. I just purchased a 2022 Corvette Stingray 2Lt and waiting to find out when it will be delivered by GM. I was told my Vette has the OK to start production with no parts shortages. My prior Vette to my current 2022 Vette
