If this is in the manual I can't seem to find it. I will feel really stupid if I missed it. In any case, I am wondering if there is a way to adjust how dark it has to be outside to turn on the auto headlights. Mine seems to require more darkness than I prefer. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Nope. That said, I noticed just last evening that my C8 lights activated after most other cars on the interstate were burning their headlights. But they eventually came on.
Strange... Mine seem to be on most of the time.. even in the bright Texas sun.
also, my seat doesn't fully go to driver position 1 most of the time.. I wonder if I need a software reload or something

It seems odd that there's no sensitivity adjustment but I can't find anything about it in the owners manual. Our current and several past vehicles all had 5 levels of sensitivity.
Something you could try to get the headlights to automatically turn on sooner is to tape tinted plastic film over the sensor. For example, some food wraps that come on rolls are tinted. I remember people doing that on other cars that didn't have sensitivity adjustments for auto headlights.

mine also are on even in the middle of a sunny day sometimes when in auto

Same here. Mine are on all the time even on bright sunny days. I've seen them go off maybe once in 1K miles.
Supposedly the headlight sensor is particularly sensitive (though accounts here seem to confirm and contradict that). Most people complain the headlights are on too much, and this can be from any shadow, like a radar sensor behind the mirror, trees, etc., being cast over the light sensor. Conti's mechanic just discussed this in a video that came out this morning.
No tint, no radar detector, nothing blocking the sensor, headlight switch in auto position, and they are always on. Moreover, there should be even more light reflecting off the Natural Dipped dash.
Seen the other post with same issues and seems to be a good many already having the same issue. Something in a software update or was a batch. Might be good if in the other thread (seems to be more posted in there) to start investigation with date built of last 5 of Vin number. See if some pattern stands out because in the other thread the 2020's have not seen this issue or noticed it (if software related in newer update). https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...always-on.html
Same thing with my 2022. Tech replaced light sensor on dash and all is good now!
Must be something with the sensor then. I noticed yesterday full sun the lights came on went into shade area while driving down the road and they went off so almost opposite. Yet I did not notice it to do the same thing later on. So it seems that it is not consistent reading the LUX.
Well, this thread seems to have gone off track from the original question I asked. I was specifically referring to a sensitivity adjustment for the auto control of lights turning on. My lights work fine - go on and off as they are supposed to. Many of you are complaining about the lights staying on all the time. This is not related to the question I had.

The answer to your question is no, there is no sensitivity adjustment for the auto headlights
