I also would look at a local dealership, one that is at MSRP, and get a refundable deposit there too. Sometimes they get forgotten and could get you a C8 Stingray before anyone else. Unicorns do exist.. I'm sure of it.

I ordered my '23 on 1 April at MSRP. It was built this past Monday - 23 May. I will receive my car next week.

The reason these cars are selling well above MSRP is that they are a bargain. They perform a little less than a new exotic, but cost 1/5. The Z06 will perform as well, but sell for 1/3.: That’s a bargain in any bodies book.
