What has anyone done to dress up all the black plastic around the engine bay - not where the panels go. I am talking about the original black molded pieces. To me they are not a consistent dark black finish. I like them black but they basically look dirty or faded in certain light.
Panels are from RPI painted Silver Flare Metallic. The carbon fiber pieces are from Sigala design as is the back window surround..The strut covers are from American Car Craft and have since been removed as I am going carbon fiber with a set from AGM whenever they decide to ship them!..

Are the RPI panels thin plastic? The carbon fiber cap from Sigala too?

No. The RPI pieces are fiberglass and are quite sturdy..I didn't use the double sided tape they sent to install them, but went went with velcro instead so I could adjust them occasionally as they tend to vibrate slightly with the car moving. Also , I can pull them up easier to clean underneath. The Sigala kit was 7 pieces which included the piece for the top of the cap..I'd like to see a vendor come out with more cap colors. I'd like to match my silver.
