Use mine all the time. Seldom use the Trunk! My trips to the store for food always have some cold stuff! Big food trips with the wife we use her SUV.

In addition I have a tool bag with things like my 4 jack pads, few tools, etc. It's cloth and fits on the bottom.

Nope… but I do think it takes a little time to remember to use it.

I have a unique situation in that I have a car lift I park under with my Winter DD up above. As a result it has always been difficult to get in and out of the trunk when it’s in the garage (and under the lift) and I always risked the trunk lifting to high and hitting the underside of the lift…and the painted trunk would lose that battle. The frunk however can be opened underneath the lift! I love it. I really do. It’s one of the unexpected (but obviously known) bonuses of the C8. The rear window on the HTC is the other. I keep my golf shoes in the frunk AND use it is as my primary access for groceries, etc. due to the ease of access once in my garage.

At the end of the day, I thinks it’s ok if it goes unused…it’s there when you need it.

Fits my briefcase, backpack, or carry-on luggage. I like it, I always back into parking spots so sometimes rear access may be obstructed if backing in tight to a wall, sign post, barrier. etc. Not to mention I'd rather not cook my laptop, snacks, water bottle, etc.

My wife and I have done three big roads trips and for the summer ones we put all our luggage in the frunk so I can take the top off and store it in the back. Our drive in Yosemite valley with the top off was awesome. We do laundry every five days when travelling and travel pretty light.

For what it's worth, a case of cold beer fits perfectly in the frunk and stays cold until I get home!

if you're getting fumes in the trunk, something is wrong.

Yep, I was referring to that sunroof. If you were careful, you could fit things under it. But it was usually easier, for us, anyway, to just put it back in the roof and gain the whole front trunk back. (Sorry. I just cannot say frunk.)

600 watt amp for the after market suwoofer
Also, I can't fit all my hockey gear in the trunk so helmet, shoulder pads and breezers go in the frunk.

My 1/6th barrels of belgian tripel fit great in the trunk, not so much in the frunk. I use the frunk for most things as I don't have to reach over the big *** wing. My daughter uses the frunk for her backpack when I pick her up at school. I keep a lot of towels and detail supplies in there. My trunk still has all the stuff that was in it when the car was delivered. I should probably clean that out.

Packed 2 duffles, a laptop bag, 2 windbreakers, and a hoodie in my drunk this morning.
I also managed to fit a underseat TSA backpack under my roof, a California duster on one side, and 4 towels on the other side.
Stuffed, but it worked.

Use it all the time, with stuff from a grocery run in the net in the frunk I can take a run up and down the canyon on the way home aggressively without worrying about spilled milk, etc.

I use mine for beer, soda & ice. Also keep a few tools in the frunk. But the most use it gets is holding my grandsons backpack when I pick him up from school. Perfect fit and he loves to have his friends watch when he puts it in, closes the frunk and climbs in the passenger seat. Rear trunk is too high for him and the spoiler gets in the way.

Here, its quite typical to back into every parking spot. Not sure if thats the Asian influence where backing-in is the norm. The concept is that backing into a spot, the other objects (cars, wall etc) are not moving so you are not as likely to be hit by anything while, backing out, your chance of being hit by bicycles, scooters, cars etc is increased. Once parked with nose out, your visibility when leaving is increased exponentially.

Because we back-in the front trunk is way more accessible and I use mine daily.

Just as liable to hit something in either direction, possibly more so, backing in, but it may or may not be another vehicle. I've never agreed with the backing in. When on the rare occasion that I've done it at home, the slight opportunity to forget to close the garage door becomes apparent when I return.

I open mine after every time I drive it to hook up the battery maintainer. I also have a towel in there to use if I need it. All of our groceries fit in there when I go get them. I'm a retired UPSer and always back into parking spaces - a habit I don't want to break - so the frunk is very handy for me.

I try to always park backed in toward the curb/wall, etc. You are sitting further forward in the C8 which means that you hav to expose more of the vehicle to cross traffic backing out from in between the SUV or lifted Pickup that will, without fail, park next to you.

18,xxx miles on mine and I use it all the time. I like long trips, driven back and forth across the country and a carry-on bag fits up there perfectly along with my min-cooler bag
