There is room in the Frunk for a standard sized carry-on bag - plus some left over. I have not measured the trunk. But, since I use soft-sided luggage (ancient leather) I can usually configure (stuff) stuff to fit.

The removable roof stows at an angle across the trunk, aft end of the roof to the aft bottom of the trunk, forward end of the roof to the forward top of the trunk. There will not be much space below the roof. There is some space above the roof, but anything you put into that space sits on top of your roof. So you need to protect the roof from scratches, damages, etc if you want to do that.
You might be able to get a couple of gym-bag style carry-ons into that space - I know I could do it with mine, but I would not do it unless I could wrap them in something soft, like a towel, that I knew would stay in place.
I thought about this a lot myself, but in the end, I drove home from the museum with the roof in place. Plenty of luggage space then. It sucks, but after you get home, there will still be plenty of drives with the roof out ahead of you.

I can fit two roll aboards (carry ons) in the trunk, but not with the top stowed. The (one piece) top uses up most of the trunk space. You can fit some small items under it, and if you're not worried about scratches on top, but that's all. One carry on will fit in the frunk.

That is the main reason I opted for the HTC. Two roll aboard suitcases in the trunk with the top down, no problem. There really is not much space in the coupe trunk with the top stowed.

Like others have said.... 1 standard size roller carry on in the frunck. Not much will store in the trunk with the roof stowed. Maybe 2 soft duffel bags... Maybe. Just make sure that the duffle bags won't run on the roof.

Two 10x10x20 duffels will fit in the frunk and provide more storage than a carry on. Not going to get much in the trunk with the removable top in there. With it empty two more 10x10x20 duffels will easily fit plus some more.
