Depends how sensitive you are to smooth/rough idle. Performance engines usually have camshafts that produce a rougher idle than lesser performing engines.

To me this seems normal and it could be all in perimeters at the time. Mine is more noticeable at times whereas you think it has a misfire but all LS motors I've had and guess motor mounts included to the equation has been like this.

All three of my C5s and now my C7 have had some rough idle to them. Unless the vibration is quite a bit, it is normal.

The C8 is a very refined car, but the car itself is not that big / heavy (relative to an SUV / luxury sedan) and it’s got a very large horsepower V8 engine back their waiting to be unleashed.
