I would love to get ideas/suggestions/opinions on any other accessories that are a must have?
This is my build: 2023 2LT HTC CMG with GT2 seats
Adrenaline red and black 2 tone interior, red seat belts
Carbon flash painted nacelles and roof
Z51 with mag ride, front lift,
Low profile rear spoiler and front splitter
20 spoke gloss black wheels, edge red painted calipers
Black exhaust tips
I plan on doing a dealer install of these items on delivery:
Splash guards
Jake stripes
Black rocker panel extension
Battery tender
Recovery hook
Doing this at my detailers first thing after delivery:
PPF on key areas Adams Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating™ Advanced (I got ceramic on my Tesla M3 from a reputed local detailer and was unhappy with the cost for 3 year coverage, and it started to lose its effect after year 2. Figure this time I will apply this annually. Be much cheaper and reviews are that it looks amazing)
Things I am trying to figure out:
All weather mats - which one?
SD card - which one?
I am unsure if I need some sort of attachment to the front splitter to save the splitter from scrapes....
Chuck the GM Z51 splitter. Get a ACS series 1,also ACS extended mud flaps, GM ones do nothing.. Yes on C8 Grill Guards as excellent quality , I also found excellent intake Guards on Amazon.I installed all this stuff, plug and play . Bolt on!!
The SD card should meet the specs in the Owners Manual, and I would recommend 256GB or larger. If you set the PDR to always record and to overwrite the oldest files when the card is full, then you will eventually have highly fragmented files. To avoid potential write errors you should occasionally reformat. A large capacity card might only need a reformat every year or so depending on how many files you create.
Look into the carbon fiber interior trim. I passed on it when I placed my order and regret it now. It seemed pricey at $1500, but includes dash surround, mode switch surround and door trims. The dash surround cost $1200 alone if you want to add it later.

We share the same TPW!
I'm not a big fan of PPF personally but I have become an ardent supporter of ceramic coating, even on your interior! I used Avalon King's Armor Shield IX myself on my Land Rover Discovery and my now recently sold 2016 C7Z, but I as well have that Adam's Graphene Advanced kit ready to go for my wife's new Lincoln Navigator that I ordered in January and is now just getting ready to be built the week of 8/8. I liked the reviews on it's durability and if I'm going to go through all the work of the prep, or pay somebody else to do it, I want it to last. My dad took his new MY23 C8 Z51 and got a Ceramic Pro Gold package on it with 4 layers of 9H and a lifetime warranty (as long as you bring it in annually for a maintenance wash and ceramic boost.) On the C8 with all it's curves, I'm seriously considering going that route on my C8 as well.
I went with the Scrape Armor radiator guards on mine but from what I saw on the website for C8grills.com, they do look good and certainly at that price point. Scrape Armor also has some products to protect your Corvette up front. https://www.scrapearmor.com/collecti...8-stingray-z51
No option for this car is a “must have”. Only you can determine whether a particular option(s) is something that will enhance your ownership experience.
The only option that I think GM should have made standard on the C8 is the rear view camera because I personally see it as a safety item. You already have in your described build, so there is nothing I can suggest to you that I would describe as a “must have”.

I really liked the look, but couldn't justify the cost. I see posts of stick on cf trim, and may do that...

Ceramic - I totally forgot about the interior! Do you apply the same product to the interior too? Is it just seats or all surfaces? What kind of prep do you do?
Om my Tesla, I got ceramic done by a body shop. It was supposed to last 3 years and cost 700$, but didn't last that long so left a bad impression. With the new advancements by adams, I figured it would give me better quality and be more reasonable to add a coat of that every year.
I'll check the other scrape armor items.
Thanks for the SD card link. Will get that.
The Jake mats seem to lose their logo from the other forum posts that I see. So was hoping for an alternative.

Awesome tips here....Thanks Guys
I'm not crazy about zip ties for the grill guards, but to get grill guards that don't use zip ties I have seen 2 options so far. the ScrapeArmor at $399 or Paragon at $300.

More like 500 for paragon when you include all 4 of the front guards
