He's not really asking anything. He's telling us he likes his old Porsche better and wants to get reactions from guys who have C8's.
It seems to be ongoing on these forums. Lots of click-bait threads about Porsche's where the OP tries to convince us that Porsche's are better or they miss their Porsche and want feedback from us as to whether they should go back to Porsche. I don't go to any Porsche forums and I wonder if there are lots of "should I sell my Porsch and get a C8"? threads.
The easiest way to get out of the car is to swing your foot out, place you left hand on the side of the seat that curves up and push yourself up and out while steading the door with your right hand. I'm old, overweight, slightly disabled, bad back, etc., and this is easy for me.
........and have the seat exit mode set where the seat is all the way back and the seat back is leaned back all the way. I find the C8 easier to get out of than my previous four Corvettes.
I feel your pain about the Miata. I traded a Chevy Cruise in on my C8 because they don't make them anymore. There are times I wish I had that Cruise again, but I'll just have to put up with the C8 and its shortcomings.
hey I do t mean to be critical of you but it is not spelled Chevy cruise that’ is the wrong spelling it’s chevy Cruz same as Ted Cruz if you know who he is…

If you wonder....... I don't...there's an easy way to find out go there!!
Dudes asking a simple question....... thinking out loud perhaps.
If someone truly misses their old car..... especially a Miata or Cruze......... I'd go back they are available.
One of my favorite cars was a Ford Flex because it was so flexible and reliable, but I'd not go back to that.
We're in a retirement community and I have to make the C8 work as a DD, for various "retirement" reasons. There are a lot more challenges with this car then a C7 but you can make it work.
With that being said I'm chasing another car which will be more practical and work better for my situation.
Everyone has to weight their own decision.

The C8 is a great DD and if you need to move people or cargo I hope you have a backup plan.
As I recently noted on this forum I own both a C8 and a 911. The Porsche is what I use for errands for two reasons the first being the inside of a P car is roomier due to more glass and a back seat and second I'm not comfortable leaving the vette unattended because of its rarity around here attracts a lot of looky loos trying to look at both the inside and outside. During inclimate weather its Silverado time. And btw I'm on both types of forms and the C8 gets more decent vs negative comments.
Re: Porsche Macan S - Congratulations for being able to do that.
My C8 is my 8th Corvette over the past 31 years.... as many are tired of me saying - I have more than 980,000 miles in Corvettes... the Porsche Macan S, for being a small SUV, is an astounding vehicle. So is its big brother the Cayenne.... I happen to be an old time car guy - I just like cars.... I'm 81.
I have always had a Corvette and a DD. Save the Corvette for good weather days when I can really enjoy the drive. When I drive the Vette to work, I go in early so I can miss traffic jams.
I don't enjoy driving a Corvette when it is raining hard and a lot of trucks are splashing big waves on the highway. It takes too long to clean it up. That is what the DD is for. Turn the wipers on high and plow through it.
If I am going to be driving at peak traffic times, I would rather take the wife's car, turn the AC on full, one foot on the gas, the other resting on the brake, ready for traffic to go from 60-0.
Getting in and out where there is not a lot of room and you don't have a choice, again that is what a DD is for.
Save the Vette for the good times.
