I haven’t seen a door ding problem on the newer generations of Vettes.
I’ve read through a ton of threads and don’t recall reading much about this problem w/ newer Vettes. When my 27’ is built and I pick up at MM I will be looking over the car for every little thing, or ding. But I consider myself to have an extremely detailed eye. But little things that I know I might see I might let go. Because I know they are things no one else or a large number of people would never see. But if it’s an obvious ding or paint issue it will be addressed. I understand this car isn’t hand made and it rolls off an assembly line. But I still expect to see a high level of assembly and attention to detail.
