We live in Oro Valley AZ 135 miles south of you. This curb engineering is a typical AZ subdivision design here as well. And our non lift non Z51 car never scrapes. Our C6 and C7 both did the C6 worst of the two. But the C8 has higher approach angles. I'm not surprised you have a CCR non compliance notice. Our HOA would be on your ramp like white on rice. I'd expect you'll lose an argument to allow it. Right or wrong, comes with the territory.

In my neighborhood some people just have a concrete company come out and smooth the curb in these situations. Essentially they do the same thing as the bridge-it but with concrete that matches the curb, and so it becomes a non issue.
If theres nothing in the bylaws that doesn't disallow it then ask them how it can be made acceptable and still allow you to easily get in your driveway straight on. If they wont compromise on anything then call their bluff about enforcement and threaten to erect a HAM radio tower on your lawn. The FCC will penalize them heavily by not allowing you to do so. "Unsightly" brijit or HAM radio tower, their choice.
Love this idea, doubt I will go with it but still love it.
Normally you can't put anything in the common areas that is not authorized. Maybe they would authorize it if you agree to paint and maintain it with a color to match the concrete. I can see how someone would say it is unsightly as is, but blending it in might work. Also, explain the damage to you car from the curb since they may think it is just a convenience item. Throw ideas at them to see if you can get a compromise.
Yes this is the current plan, but painting it is unlikely to work as the color probably wouldn't last long.
Total non-issue. Just learn to drive a low car. What do you do when you encounter a speed bump, call your wife to bring your Bridjit ramps to the mall? If you take that at a sharp angle, you'll be fine.
I will be more than happy to show you how to drive a Corvette at our next track days here in AZ or NV. I have plenty of awards to show you too before we go to the track.
Always lived in homes with an HOA, never had an issue till i moved to AZ. Its been awful in this community.
There are ALWAYS 1 or 2 people in the HOA that make it their life's work to bitch about your garbage cans! Once they single you out, suddenly your grass is too tall or your car has been sitting in the driveway too long. Many HOA's have become a real PITA. While I currently live in a neighborhood with an HOA, it will be my last. Good luck with your case!
Do you really need the Bridjit? How's the clearance if you enter at an angle? Is the battle really worth fighting?
Agreed, it's hard to know for sure because pictures lack depth perception, but it appears to me a sharp angle entry could be done with no scraping. Our C8 does not have front lift, and we have crossed over many similar to that with no problems.

Same here until 2020. I decided to put pea gravel in my natural areas at the front of my house. It didn’t stand out and we got a lot of compliments on it. The HOA President lived two doors down from me and never said a word for years. A power hungry idiot got on the HOA Board as the Treasurer in 2019 and decided to make a big deal about it. By that time four of us in the neighborhood had put down pea gravel to replace our mulch/pine straw. We got a letter from the property management association telling us to remove it and I appealed. Before the Board even contacted me to hear my appeal they hired a lawyer to send me a threatening letter. They denied my appeal and I ended up giving the rock away to a Hispanic family who owned a landscaping business. I bought seven acres in a rural area 20 miles away, built a house, moved into it in May 2021, and now I’m the HOA. I hate power hungry narcissists.
Ditto, I purchased a vacation property on the Gulf Coast of FL, and got out of it during an HOA "civil war." Never again . . . They can function well and with reasonable latitude for awhile, but eventually a whack job on a power trip will likely gain a position of power, and everything can go down the toilet very quickly.
Having said that, those curb ramps are a bit of an eyesore, and you can't alter the geometry of the entry point from street to driveway, because the streets were built that way to ensure proper drainage such that someone else's property doesn't flash flood in heavy rains.
Your HOA contracts a professional management company. This is not their first rodeo. The crazy suggestions i.e. FCC tower will not influence them. Likely get a chuckle or two. And they have an attorney as well. Weird coincidence, that you will pay to muscle you. Best plan is to find another plan. Drive carefully find an angle that works. Our C6 scraped day one. Six yrs 75K miles later, the air dam in the front was scratched up and had a crack in it. A couple of times I covered it with black duct tape. Then just got used to it. You had to specifically look to notice it. Life's too short. Time to move on.
Not all hoas are bad but most are. We built a dream house on 2 acres in the county. Freedom and no zoning. It breaks my heart to see the broken down cars in my former yard.
In a hoa now. So far so good and the hood has tolerated some stuff which surprises me.
I had a c6 gs lowered which makes a standard c8 look like an suv. Back up and angle are the keys
I may not be looking at the picture correctly, but, I’m guessing that it’s beyond reason to remove the rubber bottom bumper or front splitter if the battle is lost to the HOA?

Does anyone have any advice or input that might help with my argument. My community is in Arizona.
For those not familiar with the Bridjit
Here are some sample photos with and without the ramp in my community
Non compliant product with the vendor name Bridgit.com with it's 1 877 622 8811 toll free number listed on a public street is probably not going to fly with most HOA's.
I wish you good luck but it all depends on the individuals on the board. I lived in a relatively upscale neighborhood and the CCNRs allowed RVs as long as 'screened'. For seven years, it was a non-issue as I had it parked behind the 6' cedar fence. Then a new board came in and they decided that the definition of screening meant inside a covered garage. There were only three of us in the entire neighborhood that had RVs and all of us ended up moving because of this. We all fought and they were prepared to spend $$ with lawyers to fight. It was a gamble because the CCNRs never defined what screening meant so it was open. I approached the board in a calm, partnering manner and the other two homeowners were very adversarial but it didn't matter as the board didn't want to allow period. Don't get emotional and painting a gray to closely match the concrete would also be helpful as currently it could be described by others as unsightly. Good luck
As the two posts above suggested, angle approach and try backing in.
In our hood guy has some Italian car, has a piece of wood he uses to get into a curb worse then yours.
Puts the wood out when leaving, picks it up when he comes home.
Small pia but simple solution.
This is eminently rational. You might even toss the wood onto the lawn once in a while and conveniently forget to stick it back in the garage. "Oops, sorry, my bad!"
READ your covenants. It matters not what any other HOA has said if their covenants aren't the same as yours. In many cases, the covenants apply ONLY to permanent structures, like the house, garage and sheds. The curb thingy is clearly not a permanent structure, so see if that might be a way around it.
