Low spoiler
I am looking at spoiler options for MY24. I want the Z51 spoiler but not the package. I am looking at options that would allow me to add one after purchase. It sounds like the low spoiler gets bolted and taped on rear of C8. ?… I don’t want to drill holes later so was hoping the low has same holes as the Z51 spoiler.
Does the low spoiler prevent water drainage at back of car? I don’t see any gap for water to run off with the low spoiler.
Also, can I get an after market spoiler like the Z51 at reasonable price?

I would order the low spoiler and splitter for $500, Carbon Flash or body color depending on which you think would sell to the secondary market easier. Then pick up a Z51 spoiler from the FS section which normally has a couple for sale at any given time. The hidden costs are any shipping for the new spoiler and the labor to do the R&R.

Be advised that there have been some reported cases of the rear facia paint coming off, when the factory low spoiler was removed to be exchanged for a different spoiler. I'm also told that GM does not warranty this damage when it occurs.

Use dental floss to cut the foam tape before removing the spoiler. That way you will not be putting stress on the paint.
