Haven't had that issue. I'd suggest letting the dealer look at it. That's what the warranty is for.
Been to dealer for a day , took back 2nd time for a day. This time took in Wednesday and I'm going to pick it up this evening ar service dept closing, fixed or not. Will call GM assistance Monday to see next step. Qualifies Lemon Law but I love my Yellow LT3.
As someone above posted, try driving with top up and rear window down. If the noise goes away, you have your culprit. I think I remember an old post discussing having to put some lubricant on the edge of the rear window to keep it from rattling.
Other than getting a louder exhaust or radio… maybe try to get a friend to drive and use an automotive stethoscope with and without an open tube to narrow it down to an area or a panel, mechanism. It could be a harmonic caused by wind buffeting only at certain speeds which is even more annoying. With the complexity and ability to govern you speed that this top mechanism has, I would not ignore it and would not go to the dealer again without some new information.
Does the noise go away with just the rear window down?
will try this morning. Thanks Frank
Took to Closest Corvette Certified Dealer kept 3 days could not fix although heard the noise.
Next closest, kept 4 days could not find.
Finally took to Dealer 32 miles away. Informed by service writer they have Tech that her been with them 28 years and works on nothing but vettes. Wes came to Service drive in , told hime problem, said could fix in 30 minutes. Rode around dealership, Wes put hand on roof behind head and noise went away. Seems that roof was slightly out of adjustment. 30 minutes later Gave vette back probable solved. Needless to say my Tech for life

Reason: Found Solution
Noise from behind Drivers Head. Sounds like loose bolt driving down road, Suspect Top problem because noise goes away when top down.

I have been chasing that noise for two years. Dealer was no help. My noise is like a whistling sound when I go over bumpy roads. I realized when top down at first sound would disappear. Next, I started driving with rear window slightly open and the noise was gone. The other day I hit a pot hole and the chirping frequency increased so I open the window and closed it, that improved it a lot. I have had top down many times but chirping never goes away when driving in bad NY roads except when rear window open. So, I made another appointment to get oil changed and window looked at. After closing top the other day, I have been trying to duplicate noise so I can show the tech what’s happening, my luck no more chirping no matter how big of a pot hole I hit. This is like going to dentist and pain goes away. I think it has to do with the way top closes sometimes creating gap in rear window.
will try this morning. Thanks Frank

I urgently need to figure out what these adjustment parameters are!!! Especially if he had it done in such a short amount of time...I need to figure out what to look for in terms of alignment and correct tightening of related bolts. I'm surprised there is no info on this online that I can find other than applying dielectric grease.
