Just read codes when got home. This time only 3 codes P0700, P0868 and a new one P1955. Dealer performed Transmission Pressure Flush. So P0869 went away.
I've seen pictures where it appears the wheels are on the ground when the procedure is performed. I don't believe the wheels turn.
Yeah, now that you say that I think you are right.
I have a copy of the service manual pages for the flush and the DCT filter change.
The first page of the DCT filter change procedure (Document ID: 5384826) has a picture from underneath the C8 and with the shear plate removed, so I guess I always assumed you would have it up on the lift with that plate removed before running the 3x flush.
However the procedure says that step 2 is removing the shear plate after completing step 1 flush procedure.
Wonder if there is any harm in performing this 3x flush periodically? Also wonder how it actually works to catch additional debris?

I doubt doing the flush procedure periodically would hurt anything as long as you change the DCT filter afterwards. And the pre-filter change flush procedure may not be the same procedure as a flush procedure performed when there are problems.
I would prefer to change my own DCT filter but I don't have the scan tool to perform the flush. I might ask my dealer to perform the flush procedure (it wouldn't even need to be brought into the service bay) and then drive my car home to change the filter. My biggest concern would be is if I'm doing more harm than good by driving my car home after the flush procedure was performed.

In my post #6 above, I had code P0700 (Trans Gen Trouble), P0868 (Trans Pressure Low), P0869 (Trans Pressure High) and P2724 (Pressure Control Solenoid "E" Stuck On). As mentioned in my post, the DCT flush did not do the trick. They had to replace the valve body (along with the internal filter, external filter and fluid) which so far has taken care of the issue.

A particle (even microscopic as reported by my dealer) can get lodged in a solenoid or pressure sensor before it ever gets trapped in the filter. The flush procedure is an attempt to dislodge the particle causing the issue. If successful, it will get sent to one of the filters trapping it so it can no longer get lodged in a solenoid or pressure sensor. So even if they don't change the filter, the particle should be trapped in it and no longer be a threat to the solenoids or pressure sensors. But I do agree, I would rather have the filter replaced after the flush procedure.
Was getting P0700 & P0868. Took to dealer. P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction and P0868 Transmission Fluid Pressure Low. Dealer found almost quart ATF low from last dealers. 10 mile test no light. On the way home light came back on. Checked with my OBD Spit code P0700 , P0868 but also P0869 Transmission Fluid Pressure High (How can it be both) but also P2724 Pressure Control Solenoid "E" stuck on. No drivability problems at all. Seems like I'm backing up. Any ideas. Have dealer appointment Thursday (booked tomorrow. Wondering if serious, planning to drive 65 miles round trip tomorrow .
When hoping to get info from others it is best to provide the year of your car and mileage. I had similar issues with my '22 at 300 miles. The CEL cleared later that day never to return. Had DCT filter and flush done at 7,900 miles. Car always drove fine. Good luck.

Went from zero to 100. Call from GM of my dealership and 10 minutes later from Service Manager both with news that GM has NO transmissions and NO idea when they can supply. This was @ 3pm. At 3:30pm I was talking to GM about situation and that I had been cleared for a buyback/replace and what GM said. My cell phone rang, it was my Service Manager and a transmission had just been delivered directly from Tremec( ? spelling). Rather than going to GM and put in pool sent direct and will have my vette ready Friday PM (01/20)
I have 2023 z06 with 3900 miles and now engine light with P0700 and p1960 codes ‘Odd gear clutch safety performance codes’ has anyone had this before dealer said it’s a new one to them
