I don’t want to kick the dead horse again and again but does anyone know if GM has addressed the delaminating issues? I haven’t seen the thread discussed recently. Helpful and informative responses only please !

If my dash were to delaminate, I would take the car to the dealer for a warranty repair. That is how GM expects defects to be addressed.
It will be handled the same way that GM handled the C6 delamination issue. They will not offer any extended benefit to the purchaser. I bought my C8 knowing how GM handles issues once the car is out of warranty. No great surprise.

It's hit or miss. I put a C7 LT3 through 100K miles through four Texas summers.... not a problem.

A nano ceramic windshield tint, say 80%, would help to greatly reduce heat and UV damage. If I had a LT3 this would be a must do.
With all of the delaminating posts I have read, C7's and now C8's, has anyone ever submitted the question to Ask Tadge, and actually got a response from him regarding the issue. I would like to see what he has to say.
I know most extended warranties exclude interior trim (which is what the dash is considered). I know the Chevrolet Protection Plan excludes interior trim.
