Default Body colored splash guards

Anybody have photos of body color splash guards installed? Really hoping to see photos of Arctic White or Pearl White Tri-Coat Metallic splash guards. Trying to decide if I should do body colored or just get black.

Thanks!

These are from RPI. They are black on the tire/wheel well side so from the front they blend in nicely and you hardly see them. I think they look best with body color accents. With a black boomerang I would go with black splash guards to match the contrast.

I never thought of getting them body colored but it would probably look great. I have the factory black ones and never really notice them but I do like your idea.

There are pictures out there if you search. IMO the guards are less noticeable in black because they blend in with the fender liners and tires. Not saying body colored ones look bad, it's whatever you like.

Have not seen any body colored, so hard to say just how it would look. If it were my car, the black would be my choice.

If you think splash guards are attractive and you want to draw people's attention to them then you should get body color guards. If you want them to be essentially hidden then you should get black guards. Personally, I can't imagine thinking that they are attractive.

Yeah I think you guys are definitely right. Now that I'm seeing them, I'm convinced I want black. Now I just gotta find a good option that's priced in the realm of reality.

Definitely go with black. They blend in well and you can barely see them.

I got mine in carbon flash from RPI Designs. https://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item...sh-guards-4pc/

I prefer to keep splash guards black...I think body color painted splash guards take away from the design lines IMO.

If those on Steve's car were black you wouldn't even see them and that would be a good thing.
My car with black guards.

I kept my splash guards and OEM side skirts black to accent my Torch Red C8. I'm very happy with the way they look.

If you go with the black OEM plastic splash guards you won't have to worry about rocks chipping the paint.

As an aside, how do the splash guards mount? I'm not much for accessorizing...i leave that for my girlfriend...but i like this guard idea.

Scroll up to post no. 5 and you'll see. They snap in with clips and one screw. The "covers" that come standard on the car are attached the same way and have to be popped off.

I wanted to get mine in color-keyed match, but couldn't...White Pearl Metallic is still difficult to match or find.

I went with the XL splash guards in Carbon Fiber from American Hydrocarbon...they look awesome! Call Pat at www.AmericanHydrocarbon.com. He will do them in any color you want....
