Throttle controller
both work well. Like the Soler better because it has more modes to choose from…. Including weather and Valet mode.
The fact is that today's car throttles are exactly the opposite. 50% pedal is about 25% throttle. And even with these devices, the mapping is still less than linear in most settings. Try learning something. And don't comment on how effective they are until you've tried one. Posting from a position of ignorance doesn't make for a good look.
Throttle controllers, very simply, increase tip-in, nothing more. So instead of only ~ 12% throttle at 25% pedal, you're getting a more linear response. The response is adjustable, so at most settings it's still non-linear, just not as much. So at 25% pedal you might get 20% throttle, and at 50% pedal maybe 45% throttle. (Both numbers just examples).
I was very skeptical of these devices for years, repeating themantra "it's the same as just pushing the gas pedal down more." Then someone convinced me to try one. Believe me, it's not "just the same." It's makes the car feel like a sports car should. Does it add measurable performance? No. But neither does the NPP exhaust. And just like that exhaust, it makes the car feel more like a sports car should feel.
If you haven't actually used one, you don't know what a difference in feel it makes. And you're no more qualified to rebut that statement than I am to describe what driving a Ferrari feels like.
