Hi everyone I bought this black C8 a few months ago and just wasn’t happy with the all black wheels. Changed them out for chrome ones. Makes the car look completely different. What do y’all think? Changed out the black calipers for red ones Swapped out the black ones for the chrome ones. The wheel exchange. Added run flat all season tires. World of difference in noise and ride.Thru eBay smooth transaction.
I like the chrome wheels best. I know a lot of people like black wheels better but to me the black hides a lot of the wheel details unless you see them at just the correct angle.

My GS came with black wheels. Nice, menacing looking. I but chrome Z06 wheels on, more elegant.
My wife would say the black wheels makes the car look like a mean bitch and the chrome wheels makes it look like a princess.
I only need one mean bitch.
It is an improvement. The black black look is too dull for me. I'm not a fan of chrome, gives me a flashback to the 80's. I would put some aluminum wheels on there, or painted silver wheels.
Definitely looks better with the chrome wheels. With the black wheels you can not even see the pattern if there is one and they just blend in and do nothing for the looks of the car. So chrome it is.
