I value six months waiting less than $10k. Others don't. Didn't hurt that it was a busy and chaotic six months, kept me distracted.

Plus it would nag me if the spec was off by even one option.

Honestly, that makes sense. If you are not willing to wait 6 mos. AND you want every feature to be perfect, then I see why you would be willing to pay the $10k premium right now. I ordered from a top dealer am in more of like the six month boat (+/-strike time), and am ONLY paying MSRP out the door, but I totally get you.
