I tried google but where is the xm antenna located on a c8?

The antenna that provides the XM signal is called the High Frequency Antenna - Left Front. It is located under/behind the left front fender. See the attached schematic that indicates the antenna that supplies the XM signal, and then two clips showing where that antenna is located.

I found this in a 2020 launch document.



I don't think it is correct. I'll bet it's in the windshield header, but I am admittedly guessing.

On the C7, it was behind (or maybe in front is a better description) the rear fascia, behind the trunk. Don't know if it's the same on the C8.

Agree that the wordingin post 2 is probably an error, copied from some other vehicle that has one of the shark fin antennas on the roof.

How to access this antenna? I want to wrap it in foil for science. Would this disable GPS, cellular, and block broadcast of telematics to GM?
