No, the NCM will not correct that issue. If you do take delivery at the museum and you car ends up having that problem, speak with your local dealer when you get home.
I did the museum delivery on my 2016 Z06, they had the car for 4 weeks before I picked it up.
As soon as the museum representative opened the drivers door I could see wrinkles in the drivers seat, I said why didn’t you get this seat replaced since you had the car for 4 weeks.
The representative’s response was we see a lot a Corvettes with those wrinkles, of course my response was really look at the passengers seat it’s perfect and that’s how the drivers seat should be.
This put a damper on the rest of the day, all I could think about is now I have to bring this to a dealer and get it replaced.

Actually - not true. My car had an issue with the lumbar mechanisim discovered during the inspection at the museum. (and noted on the PDI) Danny, my museum customer service agent, explained because it was a Saturday, they would write it up and I would have to take it to a local dealer when I got home. He said if it was a weekday, they would have taken it back to the factory to the Q&A team for immediate repair. He should know - he said he was on that team at one point during his career building corvettes. My delivery experience was incredible and part of that was due to Danny's knowledge. BTW - a local dealer replaced the balloon a few weeks later and I was good to go.
I said they won't do anything different than any other dealer. Any dealer will repair/replace/correct a mechanical issue like your broken lumbar adjustment. Same goes for a bricked infotainment screen/non-functioning drive select mode/broken exhaust valve/faulty TPMS/etc. No dealer is going to proactively replace components because stitching is mis-aligned or there are some slight wrinkles in the leather. Nor will the museum.

Museum delivery is a money grab by Chevrolet/GM. Totally a waste of time and money.
1 Most/all of the money goes to the National Corvette Museum which is independent of Chevrolet/GM.
2 You receive an amazing experience, and your dealer prep is performed by unquestionably the most experienced prep team in the world. For less than some pay to stick carbon fiber veneer to every interior surface with double back tape.

Thank you so much for your response. Sorry if I was implying I would refuse delivery or if this is a deal breaker for me (it is not). I have heard mixed reviews on if they take it back or not. One guy was saying his delivery day was delayed because Shane at the museum had to send it back to get something corrected... another person said your local Chevrolet dealer... another said they used to, but now only for certain things... You get it. Just trying to clarify
I'm back and forth between Museum delivery and intercity (both are same price).
